Blue vinyl
Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
This is the colour that we chose to go with the record. It's to represent water because it's one of the most important things to every living creatures survival, a total enigma that resonates with sound, and the thing that will rise up and destroy the human race at some point. Sad but true. Respect Mother Nature.

lyrics
What makes you think we’re not the same
Who led you to place all of the blame
On someone’s colour that you’ve never seen
What makes you better, tell us the truth
We need more than violence as the proof
Can’t back it up that’s how it’s always been
I don’t understand the lies you’ve built
Cut any arm and the blood that’s spilled
Bleeds red no matter who it is
Does it make you feel more like a man
To hate someone from another land
Ignorance has always held us back
Everyone’s the fucking same
Privilege is the real face of the game
Spread lies, fear and hate without recourse
I don’t understand the lies you’ve built
Cut any arm and the blood that’s spilled
Bleeds red no matter who it is
Does this hate, burn you up inside
Ignorance is bliss and you believe all of their lies
What makes you, so afraid in life
Can't hate yourself, and can't deny, your bullshit sense of pride
I don’t understand the lies you’ve built
Cut any arm and the blood that’s spilled
Bleeds red no matter who it is
No matter where it is
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
